Today's excuse... I mean reason...
Yep, that about sums it up. Today could have been a good day to get back on the wagon and start putting myself back together, however...maybe tomorrow will be a good day to start.

Best Friends - What would we do without 'em?
I'm only doing this because somebody got smart about it today-the fact that I haven't added to my blog lately. What can I say? That's what happens when you're only around 90%. So in response, I dedicate this post to my dearest, bestest friend.
ipe I have came from her. To the embarassment of her husband, our family has become the place where her leftovers frequently end up, and we gladly take them every time. This week she shared some of her newly made raspberry jam. I ate so much if it, I made myself sick. One time, Chris was at their house and they had baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese for dinner. Before this, I could never get him to eat it, but after eating her's, hey, it's great stuff. Okay, enough - she's a great cook.
e other story that will tell you about her personality. One year I decided to crochet some dish clothes for her, because I knew she loved the knitted ones. I didn't knit, so I did what I knew how to do. Anyhow, I made up a bunch of them for her. In my ignorance, I made them out of acrylic yarn, not cotton. I didn't figure out until much later that I had given her a bunch of totally useless dish clothes, but she never said a word. Just thanked me and used them in whatever way she could (if I remember correctly, one was used as a pad under a potted plant). Posted by Becky at 7/17/2008 01:27:00 PM 5 comments
